On Fireys Mountain,
about 7 miles west of Sand Springs, Oklahoma there is a primitive log cabin.
This cabin is one of the focal points of the primitive farm tour. It was built with trees that grew on the land near the cabin.
The cabin and the surrounding area displays some of the furniture, appliances, tools, plants, and animals that were common on family farms a hundred years ago.
Many of us have 'roots' in the dirt of rural America and may have refered to a time in the past as "the good old days".
A tour of Fireys Mountain Primitive Farm gives a view of the 'good old days' and perhaps a greater appreciation of our 'roots'.
A hay ride is the perfect way to tour Fireys Mountain Primitive Farm.
